Connie's Pub sign
Carved and routed HDU pub/bar/inn sign with hand-carved D type Jaguar and 23kt gold leaf
This bar is within the clubhouse at the VIR Raceway in Virginia. As there was no place to hang an outside sign we made this to hang on the wall in the actual bar. It is in the style of an English Pub sign mounted within a frame, the letters are v groove carved into the face of the sign and then gilded with gold leaf. The "D" type Jaguar is carved in bas relief to look like it's coming out of the face of the sign. It hangs from a custom wrought iron bracket and bar.
